The seed for the Unclaimed Baggage Center was sown all the way back in 1970. Doyle Owens started off buying $300 of unclaimed luggage, which he sold at a profit. Soon, he and his family turned lost baggage into their newfound business. It found its home in Scottsboro, Alabama, growing and growing as the years passed. Airports even specifically send their unclaimed luggage to the Center!
What can I do at the Unclaimed Baggage Center?
There are several reasons why people travel near and far to see the Unclaimed Baggage Center! You can:
- Explore 40,000 square feet and multiple stories of unclaimed baggage;
