Screaming Eagle at Lake Guntersville
Be like the bald eagles known to fly around Lake Guntersville and take to the skies with one of two ziplining tours on the Screaming Eagle Zipline. Level one is for participants at least 8-years-old and older. There is a minimum weight requirement of at least 50 pounds.
This option includes heights up to 80 feet and zipline lengths up to 400 feet long. Have older kids and no fear of heights? Take it up a notch and add Level two. Participants must be at least 10-years-old and weigh at least 90 pounds.
Level two goes higher and further reaching heights of 250 feet and lengths of 2,020 feet! Experience all of the above on 10 ziplines and four sky bridges with Level one. Level two features an additional 15 ziplines and eight sky bridges. For more information, click here.
Things to Know
If you want to fly like an eagle, close toed shoes are required. In addition, the ziplining tours are considered moderate to heavy workouts. For example, participants must be able to physically handle it. It requires good balance, the ability to climb, hold on, control speed and understand verbal directions.
